The Oriadé era keeps expanding while FOLA’s new-generation presence moves closer to the centre.
B4 B4 entered the Official Nigeria Top 100 at No. 1, giving Davido another defining record from Oriadé and reconnecting him with Mayorkun’s melodic timing.
FOLA’s place on the record is equally important. Nigerian pop does not currently behave like a scene waiting for one superstar to lead it; established global names and fast-rising voices are feeding the same chart at the same time.
That depth is why Nigeria continues to shape the wider African music conversation. The centre keeps renewing itself before the outside world has finished catching up.
